In the autumn of 2004, after a long and busy career in teaching and research, in public administration and management, I received the privilege of being able once again to change the course of my carrier. An opportunity to return to old interests and explore new possibilities.

Since 1952, when I began school, my calendar has been decided by outside obligations. I have had the luck to work in some of the finest institutions in Denmark in close contact with colleagues all over Europe. Now I have the extraordinary opportunity to accept offers and suggestions, which I previously had to reject, and hence to say yes to other possibilities, I also have been interested in.
